Cole plans to attend Alfred State College for their 2 year HVAC program to further his education then return to the north country to help our community receive essential services. Lisbon Central School is closed today, Thursday, January 15, 2026, due to inclement weather.
Last night we had special "guests" as part of our JV Boys Basketball game vs Madrid-Waddington. Our cheer program hosted their Youth Cheer Clinics and then attended the game last night with a halftime performance. Thank you to all the families and friends who came out to watch! Our next Staff Development half day is Wednesday, January 28th. All UPK-12 students will be dismissed at 11:45am.

Congratulations to Senior Allison Bell who surpassed the Lisbon Girls Basketball all time leading female career scorer.
Allison surpassed alumni Heather Dority (1994-1997) who held the record with 1664 points throughout her varsity career. Allison moved ahead of Heather during the Cindy Brady tournament championship game vs Hermon-DeKalb on December 23rd.
At the conclusion of the season we will recognize Allison with her overall career total. Congratulations Allison & we wish her and her team continued success in the 2025/26 season.

Students who ride the bus home from the After School Program this evening will be traveling through Lights on the River at Lisbon Beach. As a result, buses will arrive approximately 20 minutes later than usual.
Our Honor Society and JR Honor Society recently made donations to Lights on the River and the Lisbon Food Pantry of $150.00 each. We are proud of our Golden Knights and their commitment to giving back to the community.

This Saturday, December 13th, LCS Drama Club will host a Craft Show from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a Family Movie in the auditorium at 2:30 p.m.

UPK–6 students will visit the Elf Sale with their class to shop for family gifts. Items range from $0.25–$2.00, with a $10 spending limit per student. This is a fun way for students to practice budgeting while experiencing the joy of giving.
The K-4 Concert is Tuesday, 12/16 @ 9:30am. The UPK/JK concert is Thursday, 12/18 @ 9:30. If you plan on signing out your student after the concert, please send in a note to the classroom teacher.
