This week 4th grade went on a Law Enforcement Day Field Trip! Students learned about police officers and the responsibilities they have in serving and protecting the community. They also enjoyed trying on some of the equipment and uniforms.

As we near the end of the school year, we wrapped up the Spring seasons with our Spring Sports Awards Nights. Thank you to our athletes for working hard, our fans & families for the support, and Coaches for their dedication and commitment to our student athletes! Congratulations to all our Athletes and Coaches! This morning at the Senior Breakfast we recognized two of our athletes. Congrats to our Senior Athletes Moving On! Allison Bell & Avery LaPage will be moving on to play at the collegiate level at Nazareth for basketball and lacrosse. Best of luck! Thank you to our two Lisbon representatives on the Section X Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Thank you for having a voice within our Section. Lisbon Central School Offering Free Summer Meals for Children Summer 2026

Lisbon Central School is proud to participate in the Summer Food Service Program, providing free breakfast and lunch meals to all children 18 years old and younger this summer.

Meals will be available from July 9 through August 20. Families can pick up a 7-day supply of breakfast meals and a 7-day supply of lunch meals each week. The pick up location is down back behind school at the loading dock.

Meal distribution will take place every Thursday from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. on the following dates:

  • July 9

  • July 16

  • July 23

  • July 30

  • August 6

  • August 13

  • August 20

This program is a great way to help families access nutritious meals throughout the summer months. All children age 18 and under are eligible.

This past weekend, our jazz band students participated in the Trills and Thrills Music Festival in Lake George NY, scoring 98/100 from both adjudicators earning them a rating of Superior. Congratulations to our jazz band students on a fine job!

Lisbon Athletic Registrations are now open through June 24th for any students entering grades 7-12 for the 2026/2027 school year. Emails were sent out this week through school tool to all high school students and parents with more information for registering. Please register for all Lisbon and merger sports for the upcoming school year for your child. Registrations for Athletics will be done through Arbiter at the following site:

Our 3rd grade classes enjoyed a wonderful day in Brockville yesterday! Students explored the Aquatarium, visited the historic Brockville Railway Tunnel and wrapped up their trip with lunch outdoors while enjoying the beautiful spring weather.

The UPK-6 family picnic will take place on Friday, June 12th from 11:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. on the soccer field next to the school. A BBQ-style lunch will be provided for students and families at no cost. Bounce houses and yard games will be set up for you and your students to enjoy, too. Bring a chair, tent, or a blanket to spread out on the lawn if you’d like!
