Dear Lisbon Central School District Families,
Welcome back! I hope you and your family have had a great summer and are ready to start a brand new school year!!
We are thrilled to announce that breakfast and lunch will again be provided free of charge to all students, ensuring that everyone starts their day off right. Our After School Program will continue, offering a safe and engaging environment for students after the school day ends.
Mark your calendars for our Back to School Knight on August 27th from 5:00-7:00 pm. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet teachers, and get to know other families. Additionally, we’ve taken care of school supplies for all UPK-12 students, which will be distributed in class on the first day. We are thrilled to be able to provide these opportunities to our community again.
Our incredible teachers and staff have been busy this summer getting everything ready for the year ahead. We also know that education is a team effort, and we can’t do it without your help. Your involvement makes a huge difference in your child's education. Keep those lines of communication open with our teachers and staff—we’re all on the same team, working together to provide the best experience for your child. Your insights and feedback are invaluable to us.
Students, this is your year to shine! Embrace new challenges, seek out opportunities, and make the most of the resources available to you. Remember, every obstacle is a chance to learn and grow, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
We're excited to invite you to our Open House on Wednesday, September 4th, from 1:00-3:00 pm. This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to meet our dedicated teachers and staff, explore the school, and learn more about the exciting things we have planned for this year.
I am genuinely excited about what we will accomplish together this year. Let’s make this academic year unforgettable, filled with new learning experiences, personal growth, and lots of fun. Here’s to a fantastic start to the new school year! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at uphamg@lisbon.k12.ny.us or 315-393-4951.
Sincerely,
George Scoville-Upham
