Our 5th graders wrapped up their poetry unit in the best way possible, with a Poetry Slam! Students spent time reading, writing, and revising their own poems, then had the chance to share their voices and celebrate their hard work together. Nice work 5th graders!

We want to recognize and thank our school counselors and school social workers for the vital work they do each day in support of our students and families.
In our school, counselors and social workers work side by side supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional needs, advocating for families, and helping remove barriers to learning.
Your dedication, compassion, and teamwork make a meaningful difference for students and families every day. Thank you for the care, commitment, and heart you bring to the Lisbon school community. 💙

This past weekend, Macks Hollis had the privilege to perform with the Northern Symphonic Winds, the north country’s professional wind ensemble. Macks got to perform under 2 outstanding conductors: Dr. Brian Doyle, Crane Wind Ensemble conductor and Col. Michael Colburn, former conductor of the US Marine Band The President’s Own, the top military band in the United States and current conductor of the Orchestra of Northern New York and the Crane Symphony Orchestra. What an incredible performance experience and opportunity for Macks! Congratulations to him on this accomplishment.
