Information Regarding Winter Sports

For the current winter athletic season, the Lisbon Central School District will continue to implement requirements for athletes and spectators that align with the recommendations of federal, state and local health professionals.

According to NYSDOH Guidance For Classroom Instruction in P-12 Schools During the 2021-2022 Academic Year, masks must be worn in all school buildings, during after school activities and practices, and sporting events.

As our construction and renovations continue, we are hopeful that at some point during our winter season we will have our new bleachers installed.  Until then, we have moved our outdoor soccer bleachers inside and will have rows of chairs set up for spectators during home games in the main gym.  We would ask that everyone is considerate of those parents who attend so that they can watch their child/children.  Please understand that seating space is limited.  We will continue to livestream our home events in the main gym via the NFHS Network. Information for subscriptions and the website is below.

Twenty two of 24 Section X schools now have the NFHS Pixellot cameras so you can watch from the comfort of your own home, or at any time.

Concessions will be available at home games.  Please note that no food or drinks will be allowed in the gyms.(Only players will be allowed to have drinks while they are playing).  This includes drinks, candy, and any food. Any items that are purchased at the concession stand will have to be consumed in the cafeteria only.  Please do not eat in the hallway outside the gyms.  We appreciate your cooperation with these guidelines.

Please note that some districts will have different rules regarding spectators for games.  For more information on the guidelines at our away games, we encourage you to check the home team’s school website.
